A subsidy is a form of financial aid given to individuals and families for their health insurance based off their family size, zip code, and household income.

Using an advisor gives you the ability to review all of the options that you have available. There are only a select amount of plans that are public that you can see on your own. The private market plans are typically preferred for healthier people.

No, that mandate was actually removed in 2018. There is no longer a penalty for having insurance that is not considered ACA compliant.
03. is there a penalty for not having health insurance through the aca?
Yes, you can. You could also potentially get both a lower deductible with a lower premium if you qualify for health based plans in the private market.
